Dr. Beata
Booth Hogan has had a successful career in people relations throughout her
lifetime. Originally graduating from the University of Illinois with a
graduate degree in Biochemistry, Dr. Booth followed with a successful
professional career in marketing and sales for DuPont. In this
competitive business market, Beata discovered many successful keys to
establishing effective client relations.
Inspired
by an ancient form of medical practice, Dr. Booth took a radical
departure into a degree in Chinese Medicine. After volunteering her
medical expertise throughout San Diego, she went on to form her own
business, Coast Acupuncture and Health Care. Dr. Booth currently resides
in La Jolla, living a happy peaceful life with her husband and three of
their seven beautiful
children.

Dr. Michael Hogan
graduated from U.C. Berkley in 1967 with a major in History. He
received his teaching credential at Chico State in 1974. Michael
began practicing Tai Chi in 1975 and this piqued an interest in
acupuncture. Michael graduated from Pacific College of Oriental
Medicine in 1998 with a degree - Master of Traditional Oriental
Medicine. Michael practices with his wife Beata in their office
located in La Jolla, Coast Acupuncture San Diego. He has 7
kids and 7 grandkids and in his spare time, you can see him out
surfing or engaging in his daily ritual practicing Tai Chi along the
beautiful coastline in La Jolla. |

Our doctors are fully
"Licensed Acupuncturists" For over 12 years,
the Medical Board of California has been licensing acupuncturists.
At present, one is allowed to practice only after successfully
completing four years of training at an approved college of Oriental
Medicine, and passing a rigorous written and practical exam given by
the California Acupuncture Committee. The title "Licensed
Acupuncturist" or "L.Ac." means that these criteria have been met.
Always look for a copy of the license, which should be clearly
displayed in the practitioner's office. |
